I find the relationship and culture clash between Lao Yang and the Congolese, as well as with his interpreter Eddy, to be endlessly fascinating, hilarious, and tragic all at the same time. It's also a movie that doesn't feel the need to have some sort of epic climax or 3-act structure, it's just the lives of these people as they struggle to work together through culture clashes and misunderstandings. I can't say enough good things about it.
