digging tunnels is a mystery because literally at any time they could cave in and I just dont know how vietcong tunnels were even built
I read that most of the tunnels were then much after the war reinforced with concrete. And like the main factor of deaths (not war related) was malaria so like how the heck didnt their tunnels just cave in and to top it off the soil is bound to be soaking wet with the constant rain they get
this stuff just boggles my mind
Also like how do people live for long times underground in whatever hole or crevice without being relatively disturbed? I've seen some youtube videos of some homeless infastructure burrow nests that have electricity and electronics
