Here's a fundamental question to ask somebody: Say you wake up and America is split into a whites-only zone and an integrated zone. You can leave the whites-only zone and go to the integrated zone, but you can never return to the whites-only zone afterward. Do you stay in the whites-only zone or do you emigrate to integrated America?
