We can see this in the similiarities between the two religions in their practices (no pork, child sex is ok, Muslims may pray in Synagogues but not a Church, Jews may pray in a Mosque but not a Church, etc.) and in their history (Mohammad lived in a Jewish kingdom called Yathrib, his sidekick was a "former" Talmudist, the Sharia was made in the same city as the Babylonian Talmud, etc).
