A gay man by definition is a man who is exclusively attracted to other men, and is not attracted to women. A straight man is the 'opposite' of this, he is exclusively attracted to women, but not to men. Then in the middle there is bisexuals, with the capacity to be attracted to either. As far as I'm aware, that is how the sexual orientations are technically defined.
