I thought 4chan was a random Asian website and the random board was just where Anonymous decided to secretly hang out. For some bizarre reason I thought they pretty much just hijacked the board on some random Asian site and made it their own chill spot. I thought the rest of the boards were just for old Asian ladies because the topics were shit like Animals and Nature and Cooking and Artwork. I mean I believed in the "website for Vietnamese textile workers" shit before it even became a meme.
