there's also the occasional good thread there. like one every day or two maybe. i think the people here have either spent too little or too much time on /pol/. you've got retards making astoundingly dumb generalisations and you've got people who sound like they were spending 8 hours a day on /pol/. but you are right that there are way too many newfags there. it's actually shocking. sometimes you'd feel like you're the only poster in a thread that was on this site before 2016. and you'd probably be right.
i think people saying the site is "shit now" are lacking perspective. have you been to the rest of the internet? everywhere is "shit now". too many normalfags have internet and they ruin everything. as shit as all the boards are, i still prefer them to any alternatives. let's use /v/ for example. everybody agrees that it's shit right? but where else would you go to talk about games? or where else besides /tv/ for movies and tv shows? if enough good posters are around at that particular time, you can have an excellent thread with only a few shitposters.
and that's what i think about that.
