She narrows her eyes slightly. Was this woman exaggerating her wealth? Lexi was curious, so she decided to prod at her a little. “It’s just, when it comes to wealth in this part of the world, I’ve heard so much about Divine. So much about The Queen. So much about the Emilia Family. But I’ve never heard of you love, yet by the sounds of it you’re right up there with the richest of em, ey?”
“So how’d you make so much money anyway, mate? Share the secrets!” She laughs. “No, but really, you said you worked hard, and mate, I respect hard workers, I really do, but you’re not more than a few years older than me love. So just what kind of work is it you did?”
