This is why it makes sense for Roman Catholics to call themselves the "new Jews" (Read St. Augustine's City of God for example where Christians are regarded as the 'True Jews' for example, totally customary with Roman tradition, hence why Roman Catholicism is the ONLY Christianity that makes full sense and doesn't have the Protestant/Orthodox/Schismatic deficiencies where everything really does feel like a Larp).
