To this day, it's one of the few things in my life that I can say with confidence that it was the right move. To top it off, it felt extremely good to figuratively slam the door in her face.
At the time I thought that years down the line I might see that episode as something petty and maybe even regret it - as I mentioned, nowadays I can say without a doubt that it was right move and, boy, did it feel good.
They say payback isn't fulfilling or it's merely petty but that was none of that: "You get what you fucking deserve" - and I just happened to be the one delivering it this time around.
