There’s not a lot of fiction written from the working girl’s perspective despite the fact there’s always prostitutes in western fiction. There’s actually a lot of interesting people you can meet and sleep with in late 19th century America. So far the MC’s slept with her pimp, dozens of coal miners, a catholic priest, a blind old former slave from the south (that one was admittedly pity sex), an outlaw on the run and his friend, a old cowboy, and currently she having a secret fling with the married reverend from the local Pentecostal church she was supposed to be reformed at. It’s quite the adventure.
