>how do you know what's in a room?So, Savage Worlds uses cards for initiative and a few other things. Mythic GME (my GM emulator) has an Event Table system that I modified to use cards instead of dice rolls. When I enter a room, I draw three cards to determine room shape, the type of room it is, and what the major encounter is.
I also roll on the last room to see if its a 'Sanctum', which is code for Boss Room.
Its pretty autistic, but I enjoy it. I think the more experienced I get, the more stuff I include... and then I'll use less and less as I settle into my groove lol.
