this orzo crap was tricky to cook with. there were no instructions on the package on how much water these things drink up, like there is on rice packages (as in 3 cups of water to 1 cup of rice or whatever), so i had to keep adding more orzo or more liquid in the pan to get the balance right. in the end it was great though. definitely superior to rice. but i did take the time to make a nice duck stock for it, instead of just using water
