Jesus isn't God Number 2, there is no "Father in heaven" talking to his "Son in heaven" saying "my son, go down there and incarnate and then come back and sit physically next to me". That's a misunderstanding of the sonship. His sonship means Him being a literal born flesh man, that's the son. He, God, became a son, a man, and the fullness of the Godhead (deity) dwells in Him bodily (Colossians 2:9). There is only one throne in heaven and one person sitting on that throne. That is Jesus Christ. "Sitting ON the right hand of the Father" indicates his absolute authority, it isn't about a physical location.
Later in the Revelation of Jesus Christ He is more explicit.
Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
1:17-18 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
