if you mean that somebody who was a gamer before joining the air force and their experience helping them out then, maybe
somebody whos already a pilot wouldnt benefit much, but it could give a little bit of an head-start to a person who is in the process of training to be one rather
but even then i feel like itd be a minuscule difference in the grand scheme of things, if you were going to fail without the help of that then you werent going to become a pilot anyhow, and your peers will be required to have the same reaction time to qualify, so its not like itll be something unique to you, by the end of it itll just have been a waste of time that you spent so much time playing video games lol
plus, when you come back to down to reality you have to consider how likely it is that somebody who has played games for a long enough time to have gained great reaction time skills will be qualified to get into the air force, after deciding that they wanna be a pilot
its probably a clean 0%
cause its not like you get that upgrade to your reaction time from having games as a side hobby, only after youve played them seriously for long enough and actually care about doing so, unless one of those pilots invests the time and attention into getting good at games he wont be able to take away anything from it, and i doubt that they would do so, whether before or after they become a pilot
so i think its a really superficial attribute to consider, its like saying that if soldiers were professional basketball players beforehand theyd be better at throwing grenades or something, lol, i dont think its very realistic and wouldnt actually be helping that much even in the case it happens
overall yea i think its just because they saw a retarded article pop up in their phone telling them that studies have proven gamers have amazing reaction times or something
which is interesting as well, character limit
