This is a really uniquely severe case and there are probably deeper personal issues at hand here that we should explore. I mean, some autists might have some combination of his weird fetishes, his outrageous and anti-social behaviour, his craving for attention even if it's negative, or his total lack of self-awareness among other things, but even then a lot of those things are due in part not just to issues with their nature but various traumas or lack of guidance, but in this case it is a perfect storm. Is there any way he could possibly be more ridiculous? Your explanation is just too simple for something of this magnitude, in my opinion. Severe mental trauma? Brain damage at birth? Blunt force trauma to the head? Developmental delay? Drug addiction?
