The reason the West became powerful is because the West is orientated around production and the West developed whole new systems of production. New systems of central banking and shares which were used to finance maritime trade routes, new mechanisation of manufacturing, communications, transports, science, education etc etc. The west became wealthy because of the labour of westerners.
It was the Muslims world, African and northern Indian societies that exploited, looted and genocided, because those societies are not orientated around production.
For example most Islamic societies historically relied on putting extortionate taxes on goods traded from East to West and West to East. In other words most Islamic societies relied on exploiting the labour of Westerners and East Asians. This is why many of these societies declined when Europeans began establishing maritime trade routes to avoid these extortionate taxes.
Oh and the Islamic golden age gifted basically nothing of advancements or development to world.
Westerners are the historic victims, and we want our reparations.
