Because the feds will just spam it with illegal content until it's taken down?I wouldn't say no one tried, it's just that altchans tend to become either inactive or infested with the mentally ill whose persistence ends up driving away the better posters. Alternatives to just about anything seem to gain very little traction these days. We are becoming more advanced technologically but the technology itself keeps worsening the more we advance.
