As soon as the War ends and the heat/sanctions dies down, China will invest untold trillions into Russia. As one of China's few remaining allies, China will sure as hell make sure that Russia is prospering. I think that they learned their lesson from NK, they cannot afford to let their allies turn into another failed state, they have to let the world know that their system works. NK has been a PR nightmare and horrible ally, even the CCP has publicly stated that they regretted how NK turned out the way that it did and not into basically another SK but on China's side.
They will treat Russia like how America treats Canada/SK/Japan. They will flood Russia with so much money and technology that Russia will once again be the shining crown jewel of Europe. They will help Russia get rid of corruption, get rid of the AIDS, raise the standards of living, change the culture so that Russia isn't filled with drugged out alcoholics and help get Russian industry, technology and economy back onto it's feet.
Of course China will do it in such a way that it will make Russia completely dependent on them, just like how Japan/SK is basically America's bitches.
