Sonic Adventure came out in 1998, a year or two later for the US.
It blew my FUCKIN mind at the time. You gotta understand that was just a couple months after Ocarina of Time came out. Pokemon was hitting the scene too. You think people are crazy for Pokemon cards now? Wew boy. Shit was everywhere, it's hard to explain it to younger generation.
I skipped Xbox and had a Gamecube, but I did play Halo at other people's houses occassionally as Xbox live was pretty hot at the time.
