If I did those things, I would feel like I'm living a lie. Just because I recognize that those things are more normal doesn't mean they're more fitting to me. Sometimes the more natural things to us aren't the ones considered normal

They didn't let her go at the time because she was - and I think still is - the most superchatted person of all time. I think part of the reason she's quitting now is she feels bad for bringing down all this onto other members who are being attacked when she collabs with them. At this point she should have just stuck it out, but to leave after all the damage it's caused is pretty weak on her part
