Robyn McDaid rises to her feet, a smile spreading across her face, and is surprised when Andi Kestrel rushes in from the side and wraps her up in a big, sweaty hug. The Birds of Prey share an awkward, stumbling embrace for a second, then turn to face the camera with their arms raised, before they are handed the tag team title belts by the referee.
The have won. Twice now they have defended the WWA World Tag Team Champions: at Cupid's Chokehold against Rat 'n' Cat Connection, now here against Bubblegum Crisis. The roaring crowd is the biggest that either of them has ever performed in front of before.
Andi looks at Robyn. "We did it, babe! We really DID IT! I love you SO MUCH!" She's bouncing in place with energy.
“Greatest tag team of all time, baby!” Robyn exclaims. She grabs Andi around the waist and the blonde laughs as Robyn lifts her and spins her around. “I love you too, Andi.”
As Bubblegum Crisis begin to recover, the Birds of Prey approach. Andi touches the wrist of Candy (or is it Lollypop?) and looks at them with a weary smile. "You guys. This was the toughest and greatest match of our career, against our greatest rivals, openin' up the biggest show in WWA history. Thank you for bein' a part of this."
Robyn extends a fist toward Bubblegum Crisis for a fist bump. “A tag team is only as good as the competition forces them to be, and time and time again you guys have pushed us to the absolute limit.”
