They've always been there, but they were kept in check by m00t and other mods, things have been going downhill. I've been on the website since the start and I've only ever been banned for any reason at all in just the last 2 years. Literally been using 4chan for my main source of information and news related to "otaku" and nerd culture since 03 and have been banned around 5 times in the past year for "off topic" post meanwhile every single off topic post I ever report stays around until page 10.
