>>22079989There wasn't the modern culture war. Sure, the left and right had their differences but not like the past 15 years. Entertainment was better; video games, music, entertainment culture, sit-coms, sci-fi, pop culture was funner. The internet existed but wasn't as ingrained in culture as it is today with things like smart phones. The 90s/part of the 00s were the end of a certain era of America that we look back fondly. As solid as some of the 00s were, the highs weren't as good as the 90s.
