The sun changes size as it sets and raises if you're not at sea level.
At sea level the atmospheric lensing caused by the thick low altitude air compensates for it changing sizes as it moves away.
You can lookup time lapse sunrise/sunsets on youtube
about 1/3 obviously change sizes.
