>>6860396Do you feel like anyone deserves to live somewhere their Dog would get stolen?
I baby sat my Uncles Labradoodle once when I was a kid and I took it outside in my small court dead end street and he saw a squirrel and floored me while holding his leash and I held on for as long as I could but he dragged out of my hands after a few seconds and ran away a few streets over until I think someone else with a Dog found him and we met them a street over.
Another time my own Dog was off my leash and I was crossing the road (40km road in a quiet nieghborhood) and I didn't have him on a leash and he ran into the road instead of walking along side me like normally because he was a puppy and someone speeding ran almost 1 feet away from him before stopping and my dog was frozen on the road cowering at the base of cars bumper.
Basically would never take my Dog anywhere leashless even in my tiny neighborhood with rarely any drivers except at 9am and 5pm. I see people do it sometimes with their older dogs on a leash and I did it before with my dog and didn't have problems except that one time.
Don't even know why he ran into the road he had no reason to. I think he just likes running.
