Colby Jefferson comes to the ring in an odd new set of magenta and gold ring attire and grabs hold of a microphone. The crowd, no doubt remembering that her last in-ring promo was a tempest in a teapot leading to absolutely nothing, is already restless and murmuring, but Colby doesn't pay them any mind as she looks around with an amused expression. Slowly, she raises the microphone to speak.
>"Ladies and gentlemen of the WWA Galaxy, it's been over a month since I came out here to this very ring, fresh off my comeback, ready to go, haven't defeated the BEST of the BEST that the WWA has to offer! My track record lately is absolutely SECOND TO NONE, and when you talk about people who can hold a candle to it, that becomes REALLY exclusive company. And one of them is the winner of the B1 tournament, Jade Thorn, who proved herself over 19 other competitors in the biggest event in WWA history. And the other's my good friend, the WWA World Champion Priscilla Divine. And it just so happens they're meeting in the main event at Waifus Collide, in a two-out-of-three falls match."
Colby smiles and holds up a hand.
>"And that's as it should be! Of course Priscilla Divine has my full support and endorsement, but Jade Thorn's a hell of an athlete, she won a great honor, and she's taking on a big challenge. More power to her! But the fact remains, it gets kinda lonely up here, and I'm looking around trying to see if there's anybody who might be in my league. And let me tell you, I'm starting to have my doubts!"
Colby's smile blossoms into a full-blown smirk.
>"So if you're Colby Jefferson, you've got to ask yourself, then: where does that leave me? After all, when you've beaten Kasumi O'Brian, when you've beaten Miss USA, when you've beaten Zunigoth, where can you even GO from there? Have I finally run out of worlds to conquer?"
