And the Sahara is a part of North Africa. If you're only talking about the coast you're only talking about recent immigrants because that's where they all settled and intermixed with native Africans. It's why instead of everyone looking like Europeans or light skinned people from the Levant they look like mutts. And why the Arabs in the Sahara do not look like the Arabs in Arabia.
