Either way, yeah SSR is easily my most favorite anime/manga series.
There's so many words one can use to describe such a great thing..
But alas, for me, I love the worldbuilding/plot, I love the very light parables Tkmiz puts the viewer through by unraveling each episode/chapter. Many light philosophies but also very existential ones.
She throws so much at us at once, be it the paradigm between Yuuri's getting along with hopelessness, and Chito's refusal to accept the fact all is lost and doomed. Her little aspirations to document and preserve history is but a hopeless endeavor as no one is to ever see them again..
The score is angelically melancholic and I have personally a deep affinity to it. But overall, the themes of melancholy and trying to find meaning/purpose in a purely hopeless situation makes for something fantastical.
I could ramble on and on but I can only go on so much before I make a wall here.. heh
