>>11078282Yeah, problem: the Book of Revelation existed in 550BCE penned by Ion (of the Ionian Sea region) and was a "global" bestseller at the time, translated into twenty or so languages. There are four Greek language copies of it that unequivocably date from 480BCE because they put the fucking date next to the title.
Proper research into the A-Brahman religion (ie not done with the purpose of proving anything one way of the other) will uncover fifteen prior itterations of the significant New Testament books, each describing a localised hero to inspire the flock, and at least two going back 2000BCE.
It's a genuinely fascinating subject, and the proto-christian "bishops" were in fact raised to be selfless administrators of tribal shared wealth as they trecked about nomadically. One group settled in a valley under a pair of carved sphynx heads in the rockface above them and lived happily for over a thousand years, so there's definitely something to recommend the religion when done correctly.
These days it seems more intent on pushing globalism at us, which I'm not sure is a good thing at all. Gone are the selfless bishops and in their place sit slum landlords resplendent in gold. Something went wrong somewhere along the way.
