A brown bear is not a black bear is not a polar bear. We categorize subspecies when there is enough deviation, but god forbid we face the facts, that there were different types of Homo running around simultaneously, (or that we look at the multiregional hypothesis instead of the Out of Africa model). It's inapplicable to call blacks monkeys or the missing link, because we actually do have a different, but similar scientific explanaition/insult, it's just a little bit more complicated. But you don't hear of it in the media or internet discussions, only in scientific articles, and i mean confirmed/verified ones. It's just another instance of reality not being PC and being hatespeech in itself.
