That's why the time I wanted to try them I dried them and then put them in an old coffee grinder to make them into powder. You could put that stuff into a capsule or drop a 1/4th of a teaspoon in some drink to mask the flavor.

As he said, A. Phalloides. It is the most deadly mushroom in the world and it's very commonplace. And on top of that, it looks a lot like Agaricus, which are the edible "button mushroom" species that you can buy in the grocery store so often newbies die because they thought it looked edible. And then there's a bunch of others that may not be deadly but they're toxic enough to make you have a bad time.
It's not a good idea to go out for them without prior extensive study.
