>>19547047I would say Japanese has more advanced grammar than Norwegian and English. Japanese only imported and adopted chinese characters through hundreds of years of relations with the chinese. Which caused them to use a fucked up mix of Chinese and Japanese words. Kinda like how English has mix of germanic and french except way worse. Because you know have thousands of symbols you need to memorise with japanese and chinese words attached to them.
Chinese was a necessity anyway. They were the cultural, economic powerhouse of asia for centuries and even in the phillipines they had chinese characters for trading with the rest of the asian continent.
also classical classical chinese would have more simple very basic grammar.
天上天下唯我独尊 is a classical chinese phrase that would be read as "tenjou tenge yuiga dokuson". Which is just on readings of the words. It's more like saying
heaven-up-heaven-down-only-me-honored one
its almost cave man like speak probably because of communicating with more than just chinese people, but other asian people in the region.
there are a lot of suffixes and prefixes used additional to verb stem changes.
now i dont look much up at japanese grammar anymore. but aside from particles and conventional verb endings. you have te verb endings that can change its meaning if you add another verb after the te verb.
then you have the i verb. which are more like nouns of the verb that u can mix with another verb
切る、きる to cut
切り、きり cut
切り出す
てみる to try (te verb)
切り出してみた
well i only know, english, norwegian and japanese really so i cant say for other western languages.
