Everyone on earth has seen the moon. You can look at the moon whenever you want through a telescope and see the craters in 3 dimensions. It has a direct and measurable impact on the earth’s tides. It also occasionally is directly in front of our sun, so we can determine it’s not some transparent optical illusion.
Whether or not we went to the moon (probably not) is irrelevant.
