The Roman patrician class was originally the only group recognized by the state to have their offspring inherit wealth and property because of the institution of marriage. This institution was barred from the plebeian who "do not know their own fathers" i.e. they were all considered legal bastards. Later Christianity spread this institution and democratized it for the masses. What the fuck does this have to do with fags and dykes?
