>>5096880I do it for fun. I think Lisp is useful just the reason it is not used much is because it's so wildly different from most other programming languages. I'm a C programmer and pretty much everything about Lisp is done differently than I'm used to from that.
Writing software is pretty fun, I think so at least. Getting the computer to do exactly what you want and such.
>How did you do it?I don't really remember desu, I have been doing it since I was like 8. If you want to learn programming you should make actual projects you want to make, instead of just toys that test your knowledge of certain aspects; that's the best way to retain interest while learning in my opinion. They probably won't be very good when you first start out, but you can build on and improve them as time goes on and you learn more.
