>>454141Democracy is like every other form of government where a person or group of people are in power. In theory it will work great, if and only if the people running it are good intentioned. The people who rule generally come from the public, whether by election or appointment, so in the end, if the public sucks, your government sucks. It's easy to blame the government but the real problem lies in the public. People are shitty by nature, so they elect shitty leaders to rule shitty people. Hasn't anyone figured this out by now? There will never be a system of government that lasts any considerable about of time, sooner or later they all become corrupted.
