I was in a good place when we met and was rather popular, he had been suicidal and had no friends.
Still, I felt a connection and I saw something in him.
I cared for him and loved him back to health, I was always there for him, always.
I gave him 110%.
He had issues and would sometimes freak out and treat me really badly but I just took it on the chin and kept on caring for him without ever skipping a beat or changing my behavior towards him.
Things have kinda gone down-hill since then, though I blame much of that on myself.
