>>21274656>There's not enough good women because the government is their provider.I have heard of the american wellfare system. But once again, that is not a problem with marriage per se, but of american culture (or the effect american economic policy has on american culture). We here in hungary don't have that, if a woman doesn't work and has no family support, she'll end up homeless the same as a man would.
>Separately marriage is corrupt and offers them a large payday. Divorce rape gives women tremendous control until the relationship is trashed. Also true for america. My wife just looked it up, and apparently we would have to share the things we bought during the marriage, but if one partner in the marriage has contributed significantly more to the shared properties, the courts will rule that the major contributor gets to keeps most of the stuff. You have to pay 10% of your income if she keeps the kids, but only if she gets full custody, which only happenes if the father does not take an interes in raising the kids.
I'm not saying you are entirely wrong, just that you are conflating the american legal systems failings with the concept of marriage being bad.
>The odds of a happy and successful marriage aren't great.Under your legal system and with your culture? No. They are not. In many other nations, they are. Hence my proposition that the problem is not with marriage but your culture.
