But what I do know is that Millennials and Xers had the grounding to know the difference between 'real life' and 'the internet', for the most part. For post-2000 kids, the majority of zoomers, there isn't a world in which the internet wasn't always popular and all-encompassing. Kindergarteners were getting smartphones in 2010, parents just let them do whatever.
The internet and social media are inherently tied up in zoomer socialization, so when they transition it's not merely in a vacuum but because they joined a weird social group on the internet that does this.
People don't belong to clubs at their schools anymore, people belong to discord groups online and boounce off people on the other side of the country.
So when one kid thinks "what would it be like to be a girl" and tries on his sister's underwear it's not a one-off thing because there's an entire community/social group/club out there on the internet he can join and get ''''advice'''' from mentally ill autogynophiliac coomers.
Thus, the zoomer tranny phenomenon came into existence.
It should also be noted that on a broader scale, zoomers have a "lookist" compulsion. Incelism, instathottery, trannyism are all driven by an obsession with beauty (especially the kind that goes with youth). An omnipresent narcissism or self-hatred, the internet has made it easier than ever to compare your looks to everyone else and feel bad.
I expect when zoomers start to hit where millennials are in 20 years, we're going to see a sharp increase in 'youth suicides' among people in their late 30s as zoomers start to bald or have their tits sag
