>>14303707started lucid dreaming around 18 and I can still do it pretty easily, been keeping a dream journal when I remember them but mostly I smoke weed to forget them.
>>14303693I was very good at pretending and coming up with scenarios for my friends to play along with. I was also the dungeon master when we played D&D after we got a little older
When I think back to Gifted classes, we were also involved in mock trial, mock politics and debate, etc. The other students who were in these groups with me have mostly gone on to be very successful, in my own way I shirked a lot of success and chose to be more of an outcast. But I still do alright thankfully
The big thing that stands out is we used to read very advanced books, like Frankenstein at a young age. Now that I have some more perspective on what that book was all about, it seems like an odd choice but very specific. Mary Shelley had an extremely fucked up life and was trying to justify the modernity and nihilism that surrounded her. We were allowed to freely discuss the meaning of the book, but none of us was capable of assessing it from a historical or religious perspective and instead I think it did us more harm than good.
I've also injured my head many, many times. But I think I'm just clumsy
