The mind basically can't communicate with the divine on a conscious level too well because of all the thought noise, and it isnt really the OS as much as it is an application on top of the OS. The subconscious mind is what really communicates with reality and the divine since it is the OS. So you can say something outloud, but if you dont believe it, then shit doesn't work. However if you constantly pray you are essentially programming the mind to perceive a reality point of view. This is basic psychology actually. Programming yourself instead of others programming your mind with media and shit.
Prayer is meant to impress a reality to your subconscious belief system. So you always see a glass half full perception subconsciously for what you are trying to bring to reality. So keep praying and hypnosis essentially happens and you subconscious mind works to make reality match with what it believes either through your activities or decision making every day.
