Sam appears to have liked Jimmy, Tay and Shinji from this cast but went distant on the show after Jimmy quit, even then he had to keep coming in and intervening when production started getting their head up their ass regarding Tay, it was one thing after another trying to grind her down, frustrate her, or bait her into eliminating herself after being pushed well past the threshold any other fish had to deal with. The stealing of her money was just one incident of a dozen regarding production screwing Tay over and even Shinji was absolutely disgusted with the show by that point and wanted to quit.
