I just talk to everybody. Keep it on the surface, and don't discuss deeper topics like politics, religion, guns or abortion. From there, see who you have common interests with. If you want to have sex with them, try to see if they want to have coffee and develop a deeper bond. If you can do them a solid professionally, it may be a more tactical decision to friendzone yourself and retain them as a reference in your network so that you can always move up.
