The mountains might be taller but the pictures I found seem claustrophobic in comparison. The valleys are tight and the peaks are close together. Doesn’t give a great sense of space. Beautiful still, but also more rocky, barren and severe. Alaska, with its long summer days, is vibrant and verdant. Teeming with flora. These lupine flowers are the size of plums. The pictures don’t capture the scale.
Maybe there is somewhere I didn’t find a good picture of? Post one that compares to my pano. I’d love to go there if it is real.
