we didn't realize giving/trading money was illegal. got to the point we were making unions and temporarily playing as one player with two turns//tokens. got to the point that where when one player was in danger of going bankrupt they'd forfeit all their assets to someone else to make sure the guy in first didn't get them from the bankruptcy
