>>18540527>have you ever been in a relationship where you loved someone?Yes. Fairly recently, even. We both met on a forum back in the mid 2010s and became friends, escalated from there. Eventually, I moved in with them and while not perfect, things were mostly happy. But unfortunately for the time being being together fully in this world just isn't possible and I could not save them from the results of a prior, extremely abusive relationship. Not fully, anyway. We still love each other emotionally, in a spiritual way; and talk everyday and hang out when we can. But there's simply too much wrong with their life they can't bring themselves to set right. Not right now. Or, at least what I hope is "right now." I did manage to talk them out of suicide two separate times.
And that's not even getting into my own last four years of violently self-destructive behavior I've only just recently put a stop too.
