at least with half casters you're looking for opportunities to use your spells. like a warlock might be eldritch blasting most turns but they're also trying to set up or look out for an opportunity to use a big spell
>Why's that?well if you play with advantage from flanking then it's just a stupid amount of free damage as long as you're not all alone for some reason. if you play without advantage from flanking then it's super situational and just a huge pain to set up
