at this point I wouldn't necessarily be 100% sure about anatomically modern and most importantly behaviorally modern sapiens
Africans have the most basal variation, yes, but lots of it supposedly comes from those earlier iterations, from >100k years ago, that's a key thing, while Eurasians descend almost exclusively from those highly selected bottlenecked pioneers who managed to push through Eurasia and after intebreeding with locals became adapted to the new environment
it seems Africans themselves have ancestry from this sort of node, but it's the rest which is more "worrying" so to speak, the basal sapiens ancestry, e.g from guys like pic related
