>>741930Fair. We don't get Lincolns over here at all as far as I'm aware (unless people import them, but that's very rare).
We don't really get many American cars at all - apart from Ford. Ford have been one of the biggest car brands over here for many years, and I think that's mainly because they sell cars tailored to our market. Very different from the Fords you get. E.g., you can't buy an F-150 truck over here, whereas I understand that's the biggest selling car in America.
Our biggest selling car is also a Ford - the Ford Fiesta (pic related). I think you guys have only recently had the Fiesta over there, while we've had it for decades. But I bet it hardly sells at all over there. Also the Ford Mondeo is one of the best-selling cars here; it's a family saloon car (you would call it a sedan). Actually I looked it up and you have the Ford Fusion which I think is exactly the same car with a different name. And former versions of the Mondeo were sold as the Ford Contour in America.
Also one of our biggest car brands is Vauxhall, a British marque that has been owned by General Motors for the last couple decades. So that was effectively the second-biggest American car marque in Britain. But GM just sold Vauxhall to Peugeot-Citroen.
Actually I have seen a few Teslas around, especially in London. Not a huge amount, but some. They have built superchargers over here for them as well.
Don't know why I decided to explain this, it's probably boring, but there you go.
